Cardi B fans fear she's 'split' with Offset after saying she's 'outgrown relationships'
Cardi B and Offset have sparked split rumors after the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram. The Bodak Yellow singer has also recently been seen sharing some cryptic posts on the platform, adding fuel to the whispers.
The music stars tied the knot in September 2017 and gave birth to their daughter, Kulture, less than a year later. In September 2021, they welcomed their second child, son, Wave.
Cardi B and Offset spark split rumors after five years of marriage
Popular social media platform Instagram is showing all the hints towards a break-up between the celebrity couple. As well as unfollowing each other on the platform, Cardi posted a cryptic message to her stories on Monday.
“You know when you just outgrow relationships,” she wrote over a black screen.
“I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!” she concluded on a separate story.
A few hours later, the rapper looked back to her upbeat self as she shared a story of herself enjoying some Chick-fil-A.
The Migos rapper, also took to his story to share a clip from Al Pacino’s Scarface, in which he screams: “Hey, f*** you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!”
The couple, like any, have had their ups and downs, with Cardi even filing for divorce in 2020. However, she then decided to call it off.
However, lately, they seemed to be going strong with Offset gifting his wife an extravagant birthday gift back in October.
Last week, the mom of two made her debut on the runway at Balenciaga’s fashion show, however, her partner was noticeably absent.
A look back at the couple’s relationship
Not much is known about the couple’s first meeting, however, it was around 2016 when it first happened at an “industry event”.
Speaking about meeting her husband, the 31-year-old said: “He was very consistent, he really wanted to talk to me.” Looks like it paid off.
In 2017, they attended the Superbowl together, and then made it Insta official on Valentine’s, as the Up singer posted a picture of them kissing.
They then “secretly wed in 2017” although Offset proposed on stage in 2018. They then had their first child, Kulture.
In this time, the pair seemed to go through breakups, and Cardi even filed for divorce in 2020. However, they got back on track and welcomed their second child a year later.
Neither party has commented on the split rumors this time, but fans will be hoping, if anything has happened, that they can find their way back once again.
